How much space will the technician need in order to install my garage door?

It is recommended for safety reasons that the technician is given at least 8 feet of space into the garage from the garage door. The technician will need ample room to reach and uninstall the hanging horizontal tracks, as well as fit a ladder and all materials/doors/tools inside the garage.
